Steadiness for Lives Lived Differently

A therapeutic space for people navigating uncertainty, sensitivity, and paths that don’t follow traditional paths.

Let’s Work Together

Interior of a cozy café with a glass of red wine on a wooden table, an open notebook with an orange pen, and a patterned chair. Outside the window, a city street with buildings, a van, and pedestrians.

You might be noticing:

  • Anxiety that doesn’t fully go away

  • Not wanting to take up space but frustrated people don’t notice you

  • Feeling overwhelmed, even when you’re “handling it”

  • People telling you that you’re “too sensitive”

  • Second-guessing yourself or wondering if you’re doing it wrong

  • A nagging sense that your life doesn’t quite fit

  • Grieving something you thought your life would be

  • Feeling like you have to be “fine” when you’re not

What’s often harder to name is this:

You're tired of managing how you come across. Of making yourself easier, smaller, or more palatable so other people are comfortable. Of holding back what you actually think or want, but then feeling invisible anyway.

Maybe you're living a life that doesn't look like what you were taught to expect, whether by choice, by circumstance, or some complicated mix of both. Maybe illness or loss rewrote the plan. Maybe you moved abroad, or chose a different kind of relationship, or left a path that looked right on paper. From the outside it might look brave. From the inside it can feel like a lot to carry alone.

I work with people navigating this in different forms, whether that shows up as:

  • Living a life that feels off-script

  • Chronic or serious illness

  • Building a life abroad and feeling untethered or in-between

  • Anxiety that lives in the body as much as the mind

  • Healthcare work, and everything it costs you

A different kind of therapeutic space…

Therapy with me is a place to slow down; not to perform insight or arrive with the right words, but to actually think, and to feel less alone with what you're carrying.

We follow curiosity. We pay attention to your body, your patterns, your relationships, and what you actually want, even when that's hard to name.

I should also mention: Humor is encouraged here. Some of my most meaningful sessions have had real moments of levity in them, and I've never once thought that meant we weren't doing real work.
