The Covered Passages of Paris

An afternoon exploring the historic arcades of Paris.

Saturday April 3, 2027· 3 PM · $25

Some of Paris's most beautiful places are tucked away behind unassuming doorways, hidden between bustling boulevards and quiet side streets.

Join me for an afternoon exploring the city's historic covered passages: elegant glass-roofed galleries dating back to the 18th and 19th centuries, where beautiful architecture, intricate mosaics, old bookshops, independent boutiques, and centuries of Parisian history come together.

Once the fashionable heart of Parisian shopping and social life, these passages offer a glimpse into another era of the city. Today, they remain some of its most charming and atmospheric places to wander.

We'll begin in the grand Opéra district, make our way through some of these historic architectural treasures, and finish at the beautiful Palais-Royal, right in the heart of central Paris.

Along the way, I'll share some of the history, stories, and details that make these places special, along with a few observations about Parisian culture and everyday life.
